Vitek Coating Division specializes in the application of high performance, functional coating systems for a wide variety of commercial uses including biomedical, electrosurgical devices, electronic circuit boards, aerospace and defense assemblies, as well as a wide range of general industrial applications. Vitek can apply almost any commercially available organic coating to virtually any substrate. These coatings offer many beneficial properties to the end user.

Working with our customers, we can select specialized coatings to optimize the functional benefits for a specific application. Using our coating and surface modification equipment we can then create a customized coating and process for our customers.

We have developed special techniques to apply COMPOSITE coatings made of multiple layers of various materials for applications where a single material cannot satisfy all requirements. For example, Vitek can apply Parylene by vapor deposition under vacuum over metal, and then apply a powder coating over the Parylene. The result is a multilayer coating that has outstanding electrical and barrier resistance and also resists abrasion and sterilization.

Vitek also offers consulting services for developing new coating materials and techniques, and for evaluating equipment and process technologies.
